Our eldest Rodabaugh, Lois with our youngest Rodabaugh family member, Tristan
Our mother, Lois Rodabaugh, fell a couple of months ago and has been struggling with her health since then. A few weeks ago, following a heart problem, she received a pacemaker. We were hoping that would get her back to normal, but unfortunately, she was not able to get her strength back and has been weakening since then. She is now in the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton and the doctor has told us not to expect her to get better.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2008: Mother's condition is continuing to weaken daily and Hospice services have been initiated. We are keeping her comfortable and all of her children are now home and with her around the clock. We will keep you updated on this Memorial site. We encourage all of you to sign our guest book and post comments. Mother was particularly interested in having us hear stories from all of you as you remember her and her family over the years. She was especially hoping that we would all hear some humorous stories. Please share your stories here -we look forward to reading them and deeply appreciate the gift of your sharing - there is nothing more comforting to us at the moment.
