Nicole Bernhardt
February 1 1993 - February 1 1993

Nicole was our firstborn precious child. We anxiously awaited the 9 long months for her arrival only to have her born into this world still. She was as perfect and beautiful as all the other newborn babies, however her little heart was not beating. She never got to take a breath of air, we never got to look into each others eyes, we never got to hear her cries and most of all we never got to watch her grow!

We have gone on to have two other beautiful children, however, Nicole will always be our first. As we watch them grow we can't help but wonder what Nicole would look like or be doing. It still doesn't seem fair or make much sense to us.

She is now our angel in heaven, but not a day goes by that we don't miss her. She touched so many lives in her short time here.

Nicole.........we love and miss you so deeply. I know that some day we will all be reunited together. Until then you will remain forever in our hearts!

Open Arms

God looked down and saw the smile on her face
and the twinkle in her eyes,
and He reached down with open arms and raised her up to Him.

With her cradled in His arms, He said to her, "I have chosen you little one
to share in My kingdom and be a part of My Special Flock.
Look at my kindom. I give it all to you.
For in My kingdom you will know love and happiness.
You will never know the meaning of pain or sorrow.
In My kingdom there is only joy and laughter."

An as God raised her to the heavens, He said to her, "As with all things
in My kingdom, I have chosen you for a reason.
You will be your family's guardian angel
and I will be their Savior.

And when I decide to bring them into My Special flock,
we will be here, you and I, to welcome them with open arms."

Tears in Heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in Heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven

I must be strong, and carry on
'cause I know I don't belong
here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in Heaven?
Would you help me stand,
If I saw you in heaven?

I'll find a way through night and day
'cause I know I just can't stay
here in heaven.

Time can bring you down,
time can bend your knees,
time can break your heart
have you beggin' please, beggin' please.

Beyond the door, there's peace I'm sure
and I know there'll be no more tears in heaven.
