Beloved by his family and friends, in many ways Rob was a typical Minneapolis kid growing up. When he matured into an adult he always carried with him the same sweet smile, disposition and kind heart that people knew him for as a little guy. Rob, however, was anything but a little guy. From his large frame and 6’ 6" stature, people always respected and admired this gentle giant as they came to realize the only thing bigger than Rob was his heart.
By nature Rob was a compassionate soul who always looked for the good in others and gave people the benefit of the doubt, even when they may not have deserved it. He typically placed other peoples interests before his own, even to his own detriment.
His love and compassion for animals, especially his dear Gismo & Binky, was deep and his respect for others and nature was example setting.
Rob’s strong voice and gentle ways will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Always ready to lend a hand, he impacted many. He was a terrific son, husband, father, nephew, cousin and friend. For those of us whose lives he touched, it was our honor and joy to know and to have him as long as we were able. He will be missed so very much.
