Anthony Simon Caro "Champ"
November 11 1993 - July 25 2011  | |  Our #1 CHAMP! The Selma Youth Football League Bears retired Anthony's youth football jersey number at a ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 3 at a home game for the Bears youth football teams.
Anthony Caro, who played for the Selma Youth Football League, had the No. 1 number retired from use. He graduated from Selma High in June 2011.
Jesse Lujan had the No. 5 number retired from use. He would have been a senior this year at Selma High.
Both boys played for the youth program before attending Selma High School, said Andrew Barkley, president of the Bears. The ceremony involved all the players and staff from the Bears youth football league. | | |
