Ernest lived a full and long life. He made an impact in many lives and in many places. No one will miss him more than his immediate family: his wife of 66 years, Dorothy, his two daughters, Barbara and Virginia, Barbara’s partner, Dexter, Virginia’s husband, David, and his beloved grandchildren, Emma and Travis. All of us helped to create this memorial site as best we could from our recollections about Ernest and we hope it reflects our love for this wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. 

 At Dorothy's request there will be no formal memorial services held for Ernest at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernest’s memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod 411 Main St. Yarmouthport, MA 02675 and will be used to foster Habitat’s green building initiatives here on the Cape.
