Larry has deeply touched the lives of so many. His love for life and all the people in it, made him who he was.
Larry was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation from Overbrook High School, he moved to Florida to attend the University of Miami. From there, he built his business, Sensa Educational Systems in which he developed and taught courses such as, Speed Reading, Study Skills and S.A.T. Prep, to students across the nation.
Larry's love for life was apparent in everything he did and said (and sang). He enjoyed spending his spare time on the beach where he had the luxury of living. Traveling the world was an ongoing adventure, as he always had his next "big trip" planned - China, Australia & Russia were among his favorites and of course going on cruises. Since he was big on intuition, shooting Craps was an exciting activity he liked to partake in when he could and he loved good food.
Larry was the epitome of what they call a, Sports Fanatic. Having multiple t.v.'s on at the same time, each with a different game showing as to not miss a single play, was not out of the norm. His infatuation with watching sports was uncanny but nothing compares to the true love he had for the Miami Hurricanes. [[__]]
Larry had an extraordinary life. He accomplished and experienced things most people do not get the chance to. He had a special presence about him which gave off such an amazing energy that it would transform any room he walked into. He was an optimistic being who focused on the good in people and appreciated the differences and unique qualities each brought into this world. He had an everlasting devotion to his family and friends, many of whom he had known and remained close with for 45 + years.
Larry battled cancer for several years however, he was a true fighter and never allowed his illness to get the best of him. It was his positive outlook, energy, strength and faith that carried him through it.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Lori Shore, his 2 daughters Amber & Abbey Shore, his step-daughter Nicole Momot, his sister Michelle and his beloved four-legged family member Oreo.
Larry is now an angel to us all. God brought him home where he is free of pain and suffer. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
